Lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate is a novel lithium salt that combines the strong film-forming capability of LiBOB and the low-temperature performance advantages of LiBF₄. It optimizes the composition of the anode SEI film, suppresses electrolyte decomposition and gas generation at high temperatures. It also protects aluminum current collectors via passivation and restrains corrosion at high potentials, helping improve battery cycle life, high-temperature storage stability and safety performance.
