Knowledge Enhancement
On the morning of June 30, Aurora Chemical’s 2026 first "Learning through Competition, Acting through Learning" Knowledge Competition kicked off simultaneously across three competition zones: Yantai Headquarters, Heze Aurora, and Shandong Aurora. A total of 45 contestants from 15 representative teams, drawn from the group and its subsidiaries, gathered together to test their online learning outcomes through intellectual contests and sparked a learning boom through team competitions.
Using Competition as a Mirror to Solidify Knowledge Foundations
All competition questions were sourced from the company’s online learning platform courses, covering three core modules: company business and culture, management systems, and professional competence—providing a comprehensive assessment of employees’ overall knowledge reserves. The competition featured three rounds: the Foundation-Building Mandatory Round, the Speedy Rush-Answer Round, and the Risk Challenge Round, balancing professional knowledge, competitive excitement, and strategic challenge.

In the mandatory round, each team calmly reviewed questions and answered with composure. In the rush-answer round, the atmosphere instantly intensified—teams vied to raise their hands first, scores alternated closely, and the battle remained tense. The risk challenge round became the highlight of the event, as teams made strategic choices based on the situation: some played it safe to protect their scores, while others took on high-difficulty questions to chase higher points. The competition was full of dramatic twists and turns, and the on-site atmosphere was electrifying.

Three Teams Earn "Learning Pacemaker" Honors
After nearly an hour of intense competition across three rounds, the winning teams from each zone stood out with their solid knowledge and excellent on-the-spot performance, claiming the championship of their respective zones and receiving the "Learning Pacemaker Award." Each team member was presented with learning books as prizes:
- Yantai Zone – Yantai R&D Center Team: Song Nan, Wan Lingxiu, Wang Xiaoting
- Heze Aurora Zone – Equipment Management Department Team: Cui Xiaoming, Zhou Zaiyong, Xu Qingzhu
- Shandong Aurora Zone – Technology/Quality/Finance Joint Team: Gao Yaya, Wang Ning, Zhao Xiangli

On stage, it was a fierce intellectual contest; off stage, it was a shared growth experience for all. Every contestant gave their best and responded with composure, fully demonstrating the diligent, thoughtful, and enterprising spirit of Aurora Chemical employees.
Moving Forward with Action – Building a Continuous Learning System
One competition ends, but the journey of lifelong learning never stops. After the event, the Human Resources Department will compile and analyze the knowledge weak points revealed during the competition, and accordingly optimize the online course content and delivery schedule to fill learning gaps across the board. At the same time, the company will establish a quarterly regular knowledge competition mechanism, continuing to promote learning through competition and empower through learning, continuously enhancing all employees’ professional expertise and job performance capabilities, and driving the transformation of learning outcomes into tangible work results.

Learn through competition to strengthen professional skills; act through learning to forge ahead with dedication. May all employees take the award-winning pacemakers as role models, maintain a habit of self-directed learning, be diligent and reflective, integrate knowledge with action, apply what they have learned to daily work, and jointly contribute to the company’s high-quality development
